The airport and its surrounding communities, users, and other stakeholders will not always agree, but it is CISHA’s responsibility to ensure voices are heard, effective discussions are held, and that we deliver open and honest engagement and feedback to Heathrow, the CAA, and the Government.”

CISHA

Forum meetings are held throughout the year. Every quarter there is a formal meeting with the forum chairs and other stakeholder representatives, including Councils, the Civil Aviation Authority, the Department for Transport, the business community and airport user groups to consider issues raised by forums.

The composition of CISHA meetings will be adjusted to reflect the themes and priorities. Every year there is an Open Forum meeting with the forum chairs and the Heathrow Airport Chief Executive – anyone is welcome to attend.

CISHA also provides the statutory role of the Airport Consultative Committee as set out in Section 35 of the Civil Aviation Act.

Our Values

Independence

We will use our independence to hold the airport to account for its actions and be an ‘honest broker’ for stakeholders.

Influence

We will influence Heathrow’s decisions through scrutiny, mediation, and constructive advice.

Involvement

We will involve as diverse a range of stakeholders as possible to build relationships between Heathrow, the local engagement forums, and the wider community.

Insight

We will offer new and unique perspectives on issues that matter to our stakeholders through research, surveys, and expertise.

Integrity

We will be open and transparent in our work, approachable, and accessible to all stakeholders and the public.
